普段の作品制作で使用している廃棄マニキュア含め生活に身近な素材を複数用い、日々の記録を日記に書き留めるようなイメージで時間をかけて幾度も層を重ねながら形にしていく「更新履歴」シリーズの、自身最大作品です。
このたびはご支給頂いた落花生の素朴で温かみのある質感を生かし、植物ならではの経年変化の可能性も更新履歴の一つとして感じて頂ける作品となっております。
This is my largest work to date from the “Update History” series. It employs multiple everyday materials, including discarded nail polish used in my regular creative process, layered repeatedly over time like entries in a diary to form the piece.
This work utilizes the simple, warm texture of the peanuts provided, allowing viewers to experience the potential for natural aging unique to plants as another layer of its update history.
