博多織×牛乳パック ―Layers―｜Hakata-ori × Milk Cartons —Layers—
一枚一枚手で鞣して、革のような質感にした牛乳パックと博多織を組み合わせて制作しました。
700年以上大切に守られてきた博多織の伝統を表現できたら…と思いながら、博多織と牛乳パックを組み合わせて作ったモチーフたち。牛乳パックにニュアンスを加えて制作した花々を添えて、たくさんの方々が積み重ねてきた伝統への敬意が伝わればと思います。
Each piece was hand-tanned to achieve a leather-like texture, combining milk cartons with Hakata-ori fabric.
These motifs were created by combining Hakata-ori with milk cartons, born from the desire to express the tradition of Hakata-ori, cherished and preserved for over 700 years. By adding nuance to the milk cartons and adorning them with crafted flowers, I hope to convey respect for the tradition built by countless people over time.
