陶器に螺旋の質感を与え、積み重ねることで黒部川の豊かな水流を表しました。
その頂に横たわる流木は、激しい流れの記憶を宿した姿です。
螺旋はその旅路を描き、観る人は木の旅に思いを馳せ、自然の力強さと美しさを改めて感じていただければ幸いです。
The spiral texture of the ceramics, stacked upward, evokes the rich, flowing currents of the Kurobe River.
At the summit lies a piece of driftwood, bearing the memory of the river’s powerful flow.
The spirals trace the journey of the tree, inviting viewers to imagine its travels and to feel anew the strength and beauty of nature.
邂逅｜Serendipity
「邂逅（かいこう）」…思いがけず出会うこと。
普段は自らの意図で形を決めて作品を作り上げますが、今回は思いがけず現れたウニの殻と陶器の破片が作品の中心となりました。
割れた陶器の、人の手では生み出せない魅力的な形と、生の姿からは想像もつかないほど繊細なウニの殻。
その異なる素材の邂逅が新たな形を生み出し、その計らず現れた形に私は力強さを見出しました。
"Kaikou"… an unexpected encounter.
I usually shape works intentionally, but here sea urchin shells and broken ceramic fragments—appearing unexpectedly—became the core.
The ceramics show forms human hands could never make, and the delicate shells, unlike anything from their spiny forms, resemble fragile art.
Their encounter created a new form with unexpected strength.
